Business is good for BellaDonna Salon. Offering a full range of hair, nail, facial, make-up, tanning services and a small boutique to boot, BellaDonna’s team of three experienced stylists rarely has a cancellation. Most of their loyal clients are full- or part-time residents who keep the spacious salon busy year-round.
Born and raised in Groveland, owner Andria Albanez loves it here and never thought of opening her salon anywhere else. A young mother, she wanted to make a good income and have the flexibility to be an involved mom so she opened BellaDonna in April 2005, just four days after receiving her cosmetologist license. Over the years, Andria has attended numerous hair shows and classes, and now offers all hair services, specializing in color and wedding hair, as well as facial waxing, makeup, pedicures, and spray tans.
Weddings and special celebrations are big business for BellaDonna, who provides on site and in salon hair and makeup services. They can also organize special spa days involving pedicures, manicures, and facials for birthdays or celebrations. Depending on the time and the services desired, BellaDonna has handled parties up to ten people. The BellaDonna team will go to local venues and beyond. “I’ve even been in Yosemite at 3:30 am to provide for sunrise pictures,” said Andria.
Andria is joined by two talented stylists. Together, the three offer more than 45 years’ of beauty care experience. Kristina Moreno is a licensed manicurist and esthetician, offering acrylic nails, pedicures, facials, facial waxing and permanent makeup. Savannah Sewald is a licensed cosmetologist, providing all hair services, pedicures and manicures. She specializes in color, body waxing, smoothing treatments, and extensions.
Advance booking, especially for weddings or other group events, is critical to any party or celebration requiring salon services. Now that in-person celebrations are back, Andria advises reaching out now for summer and fall events, as BellaDonna’s dates fill up quickly. For individual salon services, BellaDonna is booking appointments several weeks out. Andria is happy to partner with Chamber members in the lodging/hospitality industry for salon services for onsite events.
BellaDonna’s bright and airy studio also sports a small boutique and a wide selection of hair care and beauty products. Gift certificates for services or the boutique are available.
