Welcome back to our friends from the Modesto Beard and Mustache Coalition who will wow us with facial hair and inspire creations for anyone who'd fancy sporting a beard for a day.

Costume Contest

Judging & Awards - 12:10 pm

Get in touch with your inner pioneer. Dress yourself  in your 1850's Sunday best, your spurs & chaps, your best impression of a gold miner or one of the townsfolk from back in the day. Prizes will be awarded for best period costume by Congressional Gunfighters of America.


Old West Gunfights

Downtown Gunfight - 9 am
Performances - 12:20, 2:00, 3:25 pm

Keep your eyes peeled for this gang of cowboys, law dawgs, scoundrels, saloon girls, and ne'er-do-wells.  Members of the Congressional Gunfighters of America, a professional re-enactment group that is dedicated to preserving Old Western history, will be wandering around the Festival stirring up surprises, trouble, and plenty of laughs throughout the day.
